![]() So there you go folks! Another car that has graced the pages of Hayburner Magazine up for grabs and could be yours for just a fiver. Moving inside there is the original Westfalia cabinets and a three quarter rock and roll bed and that iconic green westy fabric. You might have also spotted those little gold numbers, those are genuine BBS Mahle wheels, in original 5×112 which are a pretty sort after and hard to find wheel, complete with original centre caps too. In the back you will find a good 1600 twin port motor, that has been serviced regularly. The front arches are untouched with no tubs being added either, all original metal and no hidden horrors. ![]() The whole set up is fully adjustable too, so if the height isn’t to your taste there is still room to go up or down. It even has factory seam sealer in places! All the paint is original with the exception of a few blow ins here and there, that have been age blended to the rest of the car.Īs you can see Wez has been lowered, He is sporting a 4 inch narrowed Transporterhaus beam, 2 1/2 drop spindles and Transporterhaus adjustable spring plates at the rear. The only time a welder has touched this car is to fit the chassis notches for the clearance on the front end. Wez is 100% solid and original and has NEVER had the need for welding repairs. Wes started out life in sunny California and has no rot or filler anywhere, not a single bit. What you see before you is a 1975 late bay, but more than that our Wez is a tin top westy! This is the highest value car that we have given away to date and some might say the most desirable! It’s December folks, can you believe it? Where has the year gone! For our last competition of the year we wanted to go big for this one.
